Wild Pitch Wednesday – Death Wish: The Video Game

I haven’t cared about video game in quite some time.  I’m pretty sure that my interest in video games began to decline when a) cartridges were phased out for discs and b) when my younger cousins got good enough to beat me.  Regardless of how they’re marketed, video games are a young man’s game.  

But there are a few things that get me excited about video game.  I’m a sucker for a new Zelda game and I’m always willing to try a new Mario game.  And of course I loved the video game adaptations of both The Warriors and The Godfather. 

Of course my dream video game would be Death Wish. 

Wild Pitch Wednesday - The Mixtape Project

Six seems to be my magic number.  Six is the hours of sleep I've had in the past day.  Six is also the number of hours before I'm supposed to meet up with Jay1 to do a little bit of brainstorming.

Yet, here I am writing this.

Why? For you.  Because you need something to read.  And because you're so good to me.  And because you deserve it.

Wild Pitch Wednesday - The Hangover 3

From what I've heard the second Hangover was an absolute retread of the original.  It was uninspired even by sequel standards.
Still, it was a success which means that it's only a matter of time until The Hangover 3 hits theaters.

Well, allow Fish & Spaghetti to take the first stab at pitching out a potential plot for the inevitable blockbuster.  And I've got a way to ensure that it'll be the blockbuster to end all blockbusters.

Wild PItch Wednesday - Trailer Tuesday

So, I recently purchased Apple TV.  I purchased it solely for the ability to watch my iTunes television purchases (Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead) on my television as opposed to my laptop.

Now the original plan was for me to write off my Apple TV on my taxes.  However, I've been informed by Norm Peterson, the Fish & Spaghetti accountant, that Apple TV would have to be an integral part of my job in order for me to write it off.

Thus you have Trailer Tuesday.

Wild Pitch Wednesday - A Haunting in Brentwood

When it comes to horror flicks, the F&S Home Office is pretty divided. Jay1 is a horror movie nerd. I’m not even a fan. Pinky’s MIA and Chet’s vote doesn’t count because he’s the goddamn intern who was supposed to be the blog afloat while we were complying with various subpoenas and cease & desist orders. Yeah, that’s right Chet, we’ll just have to see if you’re getting that precious college credit, won’t we?

But enough airing of dirty laundry, we’re here today to give you a pitch of a horror story, with a twist. A Haunting in Brentwood is destined to go down as one of the most notorious horror films in recent memory.

As an astute student of pop culture I’m always trying to stay a step ahead a of the curve. I’m telling you, I made a mint when I completely divested before the Beanie Baby and Togatchi markets crashed and I’m still spending pog money.

But sometimes to look forward, one must look back. And if history is correct, I think I may be sitting on the formula for one of the biggest shows of the next decade.

Wild Pitch Wednesday – The Scoop

Things at Stately Fish & Spaghetti Manor can get hectic. Pitches at thrown around with reckless abandon at such speeds that it's amazing no one's lost an eye yet. Seriously, it's a flurry of ideas.

Which leads us to our latest Wild Pitch. It's actually one that never made it too far. In fact it was decidedly vetoed by Jay1 who felt that Chet's rendition of "Crack a Bottle" was a better idea. And we all know how that turned out.

But let's not dwell on The Debacle, let's get to my idea.

Wild Pitch Wednesday - Sexy Garage?

Ok, here's the plan; I'm writing this for the sole reason of trying to redeem the "Wild Pitch Wednesday" brand. Sure, the first time out is only referred to as "The Debacle" but there's no reason why a horrible misstep into a quagmire of misjudgment should taint an entire brand forever.

I'm going to follow the footsteps of O.J. Simpson, R. Kelly and Michael Jackson. Well, at least two thirds of them.
