Employee Of The Month...

That's his new nick name as far as we're concerned.

Not "King James" or "Chosen One" or whatever the hell else he wanted to be called because last night, after a year of speculation and rumors and waiting, Lebron decided (in front of a nationally televised audience) to JOIN forces with Dwyane Wade, an NBA championship winner and a player who many would argue is his athletic and professional superior.

He works for D-Wade now.

Dear Tiger Woods

We understand you’ve been having a pretty sucky 2010. In fact we’re pretty sure that only Haiti is having a worse new year.

It actually reminds us of the time that Chet made sensitive internal Fish & Spaghetti emails public and the outcry that followed. God, the money that we spent in spin. We’re still doing PSA’s to rehab our image.

Anyway when we heard you got dropped by Gatorade, first we were shocked.

Then we were sad. Then we raced to the store to buy up as much of your Gatorade flavors as we could find. Seriously, that stuff is going to go for at least three digits on Ebay in like four months.

But then we realized that a unique opportunity had presented itself. According to Kim, Fish & Spaghetti is “hilarious” and “slept on” and that we “need to advertise more.” So imagine it; Tiger Woods, the new face of Fish & Spaghetti.

steve nash is the most ridiculous man in the world...

Because it's funny (and there aren't enough ads on the internet). I used to hate him too. He's cool with me now.

Over The Line...

It's been a very busy few weeks but Serena Williams' verbal undressing of a U.S. Open official (after calling a foot fault on her at the most crucial time of the match) and the public backlash that has followed warrants an official Fish And Spaghetti response.

More specifically, I wanted to address the comments made along the lines of those published by a 12 sandwich eating, M.J. D-riding, Kansas City based Journalist.

Suckage.

Last week I brutally attacked by a mosquito. At least I think it was a mosquito, it might actually have been a school of mosquitoes. Or do mosquitoes travel in herds?

Anyway, it was painful. I was in agony. But I had to remind myself that there are things that suck worse than getting brutalized by a pride of mosquitoes. Here are three such things.

True Stories: The Preakness Stakes

(By Pinky Ring)

Besides the worst junkies, the best heroin and a higher murder rate than most undeveloped countries- Baltimore has the Preakness Stakes. This weekend the Preakness will run, in MD like it does every third Saturday in May, at Pimlico racetrack in historic West Hell Baltimore.

I haven’t been to the Preakness or a racetrack in general, in about 5 years because I’ve moved on to better ways to worsen my gambling problem- or maybe I’m still scarred by my last race track experience.

Hot Dog Eating Contest? Worst. Idea. Ever.

So for some reason, I got the stupid idea the other day that it would be fun if I enter a hotdog eating contest. It was the worst idea ever.

I was driving home on Sunday night and I heard on the radio that Mothers a popular sports bar near downtown was hosting the event and it was being presented by local station, 98Rock, and the grand prize was a 4 day trip to Las Vegas and that was pretty much it for me. I heard the words “Vegas”, and “Free”, and “Bar” and I thought, “Well, I guess my plans for tomorrow night are set”.

Morgan State University, Stand Up!

Ok, now sit back down.

What the hell was that? Congrats on winning the MEAC and all that, but that nationally televised, Thursday night blowout could have been a little more respectable if they had been able to hit just a few of the lay ups, free throws, and wide open 3 pointers that they missed. I went to Morgan, so I was excited to see them play, and while I didn't expect them to win, I definitley expected to see a team hit a couple buckets. That game was brutal. Oh well, there's always next year, and they really did represent in the MEAC division, so thanks Morgan State. Nice try.

Oh, and also this happened:

Rampage Dodges The Pen.

The LA Times Reported today that former UFC Light Heavyweight title holder Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (seen in the above photo howling after re-aligning Chuck “The Iceman” Liddel’s jaw), avoided jail time Thursday by taking a plea bargain that will drop the felony charges against him if he does community service and agrees to routine mental health check ups.

Just A Bunch Of Bowl Shit...

Ok, so I'm sure most of you die hard sports fans are as tired of the propaganda broadcasted and written about Division 1 College Football's lack of a playoff system as I am.

Yes, the fact that either Florida or Oklahoma will be crowned “National Champion” Thursday night, despite Florida's loss to Ole Miss and Oklahoma's loss to the also once beaten Texas is idiotic!

Antoine Walker Arrested

Apparently my favorite obnoxious, former NBA Allstar, Antoine Walker, got arrested and charged with suspicion of drunken driving in Miami Beach.

The Last Celebrity Arrest Of 2008

Apparently, NBA hall of famer Charles Barkley was arrested on New Years Eve after drunkenly running through a stop sign. When the cops asked him why he did it, Barkley told the police "You want the truth? I was gonna drive around the corner and get a blow job".
