2) The table is off balance, causing the cup with the actual knife to naturally rest due to gavity.
3) His hand goes down too far on the table.
4) You never see the back of the hand that gets "stabbed."
5) You can actually see the knife sticking out of the back of his hand at the beginning of the clip.
