Monday Munchies – Wheat Thins Artisan Cheese Crackers: Vermont White Cheddar

Welcome back to yet another edition of the Monday Munchies. You’d think that since it’s the holiday season we’d be devoting this space to holiday food. Thanksgiving leftovers? Hanukkah spreads? Christmas feasts? Kwanzaa buffets? Fetsivus tv dinners? Fruitcake?

Nope.

Not here at Fish & Spaghetti, where we buck the trends. This is a place where we remain true to ourselves and promise to never sell out. Unless you’ve got $2000, in which case we’d gladly hand over the Fish & Spaghetti brand in it’s entirety and throw in Chet the Intern for free.

Where were we? Oh, that’s right it’s time for Monday Munchies.

Look At This Fucking Hipster

There's nothing like a really good picture blog. Especially when it's one that makes fun of hipsters. Making fun of hipsters is one of the only reasons I still go out anymore.

Take a look at the hilarity over at Look At This Fucking Hipster, and check out hipsters wearing stupid glasses, pretentious tattoos, ridiculous mustaches and generally being douches with funy captions, videos and links.

The blog, like a few other picture blogs, is soon to be a book for some reason.

Enjoy.

Wild Pitch Wednesday - Untitled Television Show Set in the 1990's

As an astute student of pop culture I’m always trying to stay a step ahead a of the curve. I’m telling you, I made a mint when I completely divested before the Beanie Baby and Togatchi markets crashed and I’m still spending pog money.

But sometimes to look forward, one must look back. And if history is correct, I think I may be sitting on the formula for one of the biggest shows of the next decade.

If Not For Maxim… – In-N-Out’s Secret Menu

As longtime Fish & Spaghetti readers recall, I’ve been saddled with a subscription to Maxim magazine. Maxim is easily the most embarrassing thing I get delivered to crib, and I not only subscribe to both Wizard and Toyfare, but I also get mail order lube.

But in order to make lemonade out of lemons and perhaps get a bit more “Alpha Male” personality-wise, I’ve made a concerted effort to actually read every issue of Maxim that I’ve received.

Monday Munchies – Chex Mix Teriyaki

I’ll readily admit that when I shop, I shop like I’m high. I would be lying if said that after going to the store I had a snack to foodstuffs ratio of under 2 to 1. The grocery store for me is an almost Zen like experience; I exist only in the now.

As such I end up taking risks that a normal person wouldn’t take. One of those risks was Chex Mix Teriyaki.

Remembering – The Right Click

So, this past week I became a member of the “I’m a Mac” club. Now I’m not saying that I happened upon this MacBook in a library in Charm City, but I am saying that people should be more careful with their belongings and more mindful of their surroundings.

Enough about that, my point is that for all of the awesome things that this computer can do (and it can do plenty) I miss the that warm reassurance that I found in my PC’s “right click.”

Monday Munchies – Spicy Jalapeno Fritos

In the summer of 2008 Frito Lay introduced the McGraw’s Spicy Jalapeno flavor to their Frito line of anti-health food. They joined a family that already included Nacho Cheese, Chili Cheese, Mexican Chicken and Ranch.

Yeah, it really says something about your product when a country singer’s name actually classes things up a bit.
