Obligatory "Charlie Sheen" Post (kinda)...
Yesterday I saw a video that completely changed my perception of Charlie Sheen and his recent antics.
Skip Serpico actually had a really funny idea for a "Friday Face-off that was going to have Sheen go head up with Gaddafi to see who was crazier. The post was funny too, however a few things kept us from posting it.
First, I didn't notice it until the saturday after the friday it was supposed to be posted, secondly, we thought it could be a little funnier and were considering edits, third, the very next day Saturday Night Live featured a bit that had the two go head to head in a "March Madness" sketch, but most importantly, given the extreme behavior of Sheen, we were all pretty much in agreement that he would be dead soon and didn't really want to be a part of making fun of what was obviously a man on the brink of complete self destruction.
Then I saw this video:
Either Sheen has a great PR crew and they are helping him spin his manic antics in a way that is portraying Sheen as being somewhat self aware of what he's doing or Sheen is in fact an Andy Kaufman level genius and the joke is on all of us.
Either way, I'm fascinated with him and his bullshit now more than ever.
Which still translates to "mildly interested."
