ช็อคโกแลต

If you havn't seen "Chocolate" (I have no idea why it's called that by the way)the really cool martial arts movie that was released in early 2008, you're missing out.

It's not super revolutionary in terms of content, it actually has a pretty wacky plot that follows an autistic girl who learned to fight from watching TV on a mission to, ah who cares, honestly.

The coolest thing about this movie is the fight scenes and there are plenty of them and the choreography is unique even though very reminicsant of Ong-Bak starring Tony Jaa, much so that Chocolate was actually hyped as "Starring The Female Tony Jaa: Yanin "Jeeja" Vismistananda".

The director and choreographers of Ong Bak also worked on Chocolate so it's not that surprising.

Still, the fact that the fight scenes are done without that corny wire work like Kill Bill, the cool locations for the fight scenes like the Ice Warehouse and some nutty characters like the clip below featuring the coolest "Karate B-Boy With Tourettes" you've ever seen, make this a movie worth checking out.

My daughters got a kick out of it too. I think it's important for people to let their daughters see images of women kicking the shit out of people as apposed to just singing or dancing or crying which they do far too often on tv.
